Elebaires offers a Spanish experience for the whole family, so that everyone can enjoy an excellent vacation in Buenos Aires. Regardless of the parents or children´s respective ages, we are completely dedicated to designing a program for every family member, providing the parents with the security and peace of mind that their children will be well-cared for and in good, responsible hands. This gives parents the opportunity to enjoy free time in the city, all while learning Spanish.
Every family can count on our constant assistance from the moment they arrive in Argentina so that they can take full advantage of every instant of their trip. From their welcome reception until the second they leave, we will take care of every detail in order to guarantee a unique and special linguistic and Argentine cultural experience during their stay in Buenos Aires.
All of the members of the Elebaires team have solid experience in their position and are fundamental pillars during every step of the family´s trip. Our guides, teachers, the confortable and safe accommodation and the quality of activities tailored to the family´s needs enables the whole family to obtain their goal: Learn Spanish while discovering Buenos Aires like a local.
Here we have included an example itinerary of a family program that can serve as a model for what we typically arrange for families:
Day 1 (Sunday): Arrive in Buenos Aires. Transfer from the airport to accommodation. Welcome reception. Hand out the activities calendar. Break. Lunch. Tour of the San Telmo antiques fair (whole family) with live tango dancing and specialized guide. Dinner.
Day 2 (Monday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. While the kids spend time with her during the morning, the parents participate in an Intensive Spanish Program (Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm). Lunch. Guided tour of the historical center. Tango class for the parents (children with caretaker). Dinner.
Day 3 (Tuesday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program for parents. Lunch. Visit to Recoleta (Recoleta Cementery, famous metal flower, etc) and Palermo. Dinner.
Day 4 (Wednesday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program for parents. Lunch. Buenos Aires Cultural Afternoon: Visit museums (Malba and Bellas Artes, descriptions below) with specialized guide. Children spend the afternoon in the amusement park in the center. Dinner.
Day 5 (Thursday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Lunch and afternoon with family at your leisure (please see suggested activities). Dinner.
Day 6 (Friday): Breakfast at accommodation and transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery to travel to Iguazú (Complete itinerary included).
Day 7 (Saturday): Iguazú (please see itinerary).
Day 8 (Sunday): Iguazú (please see itinerary). Transfer back to Buenos Aires.
Day 9 (Monday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Lunch. Tango class for parents (caretaker with children). Dinner.
Day 10 (Tuesday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Quick lunch. Afternoon: Outing to Temaikén (please see description below). Dinner.
Day 11 (Wednesday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Lunch. Interactive science museum or visit to the Abasto Shopping mall with kids game area – Carlos Gardel´s house – Shopping tour. Dinner.
Day 12 (Thursday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Lunch and afternoon with family at your leisure (please see suggested activities). Dinner for parents: Tango Show with dinner. Children with caretaker at accommodation.
Day 13 (Friday): Breakfast at accommodation and arrival of caretaker who will look after the children. Intensive Spanish program. Evaluation and hand out certificates. Lunch and aftenoon visit to "La ciudad de los niños" (The City of Children) amusement park – Visit La Plata city. Dinner.
Day 14 (Saturday): Family day at an estancia (traditional Argentine ranch). Please see included itinerary with detailed description. Special Activities for children include: games, songs, bikeriding, trail rides, arts and crafts, etc.
Day 15 (Sunday): Goodbyes. Return to home country. Transfer to Ezeiza airport.
