For all you teachers out there struggling to motivate your students with two screens and a ton of distance between you, fear no more! Using these resources will help you to spice up the class and re-spark the excitement and motivation that may have dwindled in the transition from in person classes to classes online.
- KAHOOT
There’s nothing wrong with some good healthy competition! This program allows you to create games with all different types of questions (ej. multiple choice, matching, true false, etc.). Your students can then type in the game code on their devices to join the game and play against their classmates. Answer the question before the time runs out and try and get as many correct as you can!
2. EDUCAPLAY
This program allows teachers to integrate multimedia teaching activities into their classes. This includes things such as interactive maps and pictures, dialogue analysis, quizzes, matching games, riddles and crosswords. Where Kahoot motivates with competition, Educaplay motivates with multimedia interaction!
3. WORDWALL
This program is similar to Educaplay but it also has an option for printable activities. You can create interactive games or worksheets and then you can save them to be printed. They also have different templates that can give you ideas of different activities you can do with your students.
Don’t let your classes be ordinary when you have the resources to make them extraordinary!
