On Monday afternoon we organized a trip to Parque Lezama, the park is located in the area of San Telmo. The goal of our trip was to have fun, meet new people and of course, improve our Spanish!
A great way to meet new people!
Going on a trip like this gives you the opportunity to meet many new people from different backgrounds. From the moment we leave the school people are introducing themselves and have a chance to get to know each other better. Once we arrived in the park, we split the group in three smaller teams and received a paper with questions that are of course, written in Spanish. From that point on we had half an hour to find as many answers as possible, the best way to do this was walking around the Parc and ask locals for their help and knowledge. After the 30 minutes were over, everyone got together and we discussed the answers before we moved on to have a look at different parts of the park.
Outdoor Spanish!
Besides learning Spanish in the classroom, we also have a different way of learning and improving the language. One of them is to go out and speak to different locals. And this is exactly what we did in the Park on Monday. Through this way you get a better understanding of the Language and different accents spoken in the city of Buenos Aires and will help you bring your Spanish to a higher level.
The combination of meeting new people, fun and Spanish is the perfect outdoor trip on a sunny day in Buenos Aires and we cannot wait to go on another trip next Monday! Who is joining?
