Today we are going to the National Fine Arts Museum, in Recoleta!
This museum is one of the most magnificient place in Buenos Aires. It holds the most important collection of art in South America, composed by reknown international artists like Rembrand, Manet, Goya, Van Gogh, Degas and more (including Argentine painters).
Located in the former mansion of the aristocratic family Errazuriz, it stands out for its awesome architecture. And the Museum keeps intacts the rooms of the former owner who built a showcase of different decorative styles, from medieval to baroque to art nouveau. Every room will take you to a different period in art history.
There is also a gorgeous cafe right at the entrance of the Mansion where you can have a coffee with the best views of the facade while enjoying the posh atmosphere of the old days.
And with our great teacher Marina, you will never get bored! You can enjoy the museum while practicing your Spanish!
And as the museum is located in the neighborhood of Recoleta, it has really easy access from the Recoleta Cementery and the others attractions of the “barrio”.
So, don’t hesitate anymore and join us !
We will meet at 2pm at the school and go together!
