Arriving to the capital
Whenever you arrive in the capital of Argentina, first take time to absorb the beauty of the many trees and the amazing architecture. The best way to start your trip is by drinking a café con leche (capucino) at one of the many terraces. Once your ready to discover, go to the Obelisco (obelisk) at the street called ‘9 de Julio’. To get the best view on this beautiful monument, visit the Cielo rooftopbar at Hotel Grand Brizo.
Close to the obelisco, you find the famous theater ‘Teatro Colon’. The best thing is to cross the street and take a look at Plaza Levalle. Plaza Levalle is a square located behind the theatre with amazing architecture and multiple monuments you have to see! After the square and theatre, walk a short distance towards Plaza de Mayo. This is the place where you will find the office of the president
(Casa Rosada) and a museum about the history of the city (El Cabildo). If you are able to visit the square on a Sunday, then the 2km long Feria de San Telmo is the place to go! The market starts at a side street called Defensa and it goes all the way into the historic neighborhood of San Telmo.
Another must-see thing in Buenos Aires is the beautiful neighborhood La Boca. The best advise for tourists is to take a taxi or an Uber to the center of the neighborhood and then enjoy the bright colored houses at El Caminito. In the streets of La Boca, you will find live music and couples expressing their passion by dancing the tango. Whenever you visit La Boca, take in the murals of Diego Maradonna and see the famous stadium of Boca Juniors called ‘La Bombonera’. For the real football-enthusiasts, the stadium even has a museum about the history of the club.

A thing most tourists forget to do is to visit the more calm and relaxed spots of Buenos Aires. In case you have some time left, take time to see the amazing park called ‘Parque Tres de Febrero’ and the rose garden called ‘Paseo El Rosedal’. The last beautiful spot we recommend is the cemetery of Recoletta; this large cemetery is iconic due to the narrow streets, small buildings.
