One of the many things Buenos Aires is known for is its food. Here we will discuss some suggestions for a restaurant in Buenos Aires.
If you like burgers, you should definitely visit the Burger Joint. The Burger Joint was, a couple years ago, listed as one of the 25 best burger restaurants in the world. And they still serve amazing burgers of high quality. The combo’s they offer are very appealing as well since they are not too pricey, A burger, fries and a pint will set you back only 220 pesos which is less than €10!
Argentina is, of course, famous for their excellent steaks. And if you like steaks, Don Julio is definitely a recommended restaurant in Buenos Aires. They are arguably one of the best steakhouses in Buenos Aires. The fancy but accessible ambience makes it special to eat there, inside or outside right at the street. It is one of the pricier restaurants, but looking at the line waiting to get in every day, it is worth the money. It is not possible to make a reservation so be there on time because the waiting time can get up to an hour and a half.
If you tried getting in to Don Julio but you don’t feel like waiting, La Hormiga is an excellent option as well. La Hormiga is located near Don Julio, in the bruising Palermo neighborhood. At la Hormiga there is a lot of choice but if you are with two or more, we can suggest the plates for two. A big steak, various vegetables, fries and a bottle of wine won’t cost you more than 300 pesos (which is less than €15) per person.
If you are thinking about not eating meat for a night, Nola is a great option. Nola is a restaurant in Buenos Aires that completely focuses on chicken. With a lot of variation and amazing dishes, good craft beers and cocktails, Nola is one of the hotspots of Palermo.
A local favorite in Argentina is choripan; a chorizo sausage on a bun. It is very delicious and sounds fairly simple but at Chori they make something special of it. With various combinations of vegetables, sauces, extras and even vegetarian choripan, it is definitely a restaurant in Buenos Aires worth visiting!
