Want somewhere to satisfy your sweet-tooth? La Panera Rosada is the place!

In amongst the bohemian setting of Palermo Soho, you can find a quirky cafetería called La Panera Rosa just off Plaza Serrano. Delicious, lingering smells of crepes, waffles and other tasty treats can be smelt from outside and will no doubt attract you inside.

It is known for their exceptional “dulces” for people with a bit of a sweet-tooth however the menu caters for all taste buds. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to meet up with friends for breakfast, lunch or to grab an afternoon snack! It is really well priced, with prices ranging from ARG $80 to $150.

When I went for the first time, I ordered a delicious dulce de leche waffle, which tasted just as good as it looked! It was a Sunday afternoon so the cafe was busy with people and had a very vibrant atmosphere. It is also a popular place for people to go for a lunch during the week, particularly people wanting a lighter option as their salads are highly recommended. I have also tried their salmon salad, which was so tasty! We sat outside and soaked up the energic atmosphere of the trendy Palermo Soho area. As Panera Rosada is close to Plaza Serrano, afterwards I went to have a wander around the market which takes place every weekend in the square. There are little stalls selling clothes, bags, belts and much more – it is definitely worth a visit!
