Bomba set alight by Amy CasaVino

This week the students were out in numbers to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of La Bomba de Tiempo. A weekly percussion performance which has earned an enviable reputation across the city that never sleeps and has proved to be a fan favourite for the students over the years. The charm of La Bomba lies in their exceptional craft – never repeating the same performance twice. This week the various classes were treated to an Amy Winehouse extravaganza as her voice amplified over the booming drums as the impersonator wowed the crowd. Post ‘You Know I’m No Good’ and ‘Back to Black. …………the smarter students went back to bed, the even smarter students had indulged in a cultural siesta to ensure they could continue on. A local tango club was the destination, dancing away the early hours of the morning. A few bleary eyed late arrivals the next day but all managed to tackle the complexities of irregular verbs with the rhythm of the drums still rumbling on. Not bad for a Monday!!!
