Total Solar Eclipse in San Juan, Argentina
On July 2nd of this year, a total solar eclipse will fill our sky, with visibility in specific parts of Argentina, Chile, and the Pacific Ocean. Although the partial eclipse will be visible throughout many parts of these countries, the path of the moon´s shadow where the sun is completely hidden by the moon, will start on the east and pass over these provinces of Argentina: San Juan, San Luis, La Rioja, Córdoba, Santa Fe y Buenos Aires. The entirety of the eclipse will happen at sunset and the best locations to see it will be those on the west coast, especially in the San Juan province.
